Client Partnerships

CSP is set up from the ground up to support and work with clients in a broad variety of contexts. We maintain relationships with over 100 clients who live in the Cambridge and Somerville areas...

Who are CSP clients?
CSP clients do not fit one mold, nor are there specific requirements for eligibility. We have served college graduates who were recently laid off, people with disabilities in need of services, recent immigrants who wanted to learn English, and families who have lost their home in a fire. (not like I stole that from the manual or anything...)

How do I become a CSP client?
Our offices are located in the Multi-Service Center at 19 Brookline St. in Cambridge. No referrals are necessary to begin meeting with CSP representatives. We generally do not meet with clients on a walk-in basis, but we will certainly be happy to set up an appointment in the future. Per Multi-Service Center regulations, individuals must be sober to meet with CSP representatives.

Why should I become a CSP client?
All CSP services are free, provide personal one-on-one attention, keep paperwork and bureaucracy to an absolute minimum, provide assistance for a broad variety of needs in one place, and assist clients with representatives who are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Client partnerships may last for one day or for one year, or beyond!

How does CSP help clients?
Some (but not all!) of the ways we help clients are:
-Creating/refining resumes and cover letters
-Locating GED and Certification programs
-Identifying low-cost daycare options
-Coordinating affordable healthcare options
-Locating temporary, transitional and permanent housing
-Securing free/low-cost legal assistance
-Determining transportation options
-Locating employment opportunities
-Providing language translation services
