I DID THE WORK FOR THIS COURSE

My aim, in the following term paper, is to support the following thesis: I did the work for this course. This essay will be divided into two main parts: (1) the essay itself; and (2) the urine stains which I left on it (see the upper right hand corner, next to your name).

Starting out with the first of our two major divisions which serve to support the thesis at hand, we are at once struck by a significant fact which may serve as a backdrop for subsequent analysis and discussion. The particular fact to which I refer in the last sentence is the following: you know that I did not attend sections after the second week of the semester.1 A further insight, independent of this realization mentioned in the sentence before this one, is this: I only handed in one of nine response papers assigned.

From the paragraph above, then, at first glance, it may seem that, contrary to the overriding thesis of this paper, I did not do the required work for this course. However, a second look may reveal a different perspective. I mean, consider the fact that the one response paper I did was three pages long, even though the required length was only two-and-a-half pages.

In conclusion, it is significant to note that not one but two of the original points I intended to prove have been proven. This may influence your opinion of my paper writing skills, as you had limited knowledge of my ability (don’t blame yourself; I forgive you). But forgivement is not a one-way street. By contrast, forgiveness is a street with two ways, and I hope you see things my way.

1. My certitude that you know that I stopped attending sections arises from the fact that you are my TF.
