Partial "points" will be granted for vague references or for getting the nationality, period, or even century correct. (Hint: most of these are 20th century.)
There are 26 samples. They are now posted as both .wav files (each about 1 megabyte) and Ogg Vorbis files (each about 180k).
This should be construed as reasonably difficult.
