How do I save the files to my computer? When the document opens in your browser window, choose "File --> Save As..." to save the file on your hard drive. Mac users should do the equivalent, whatever that is.

What if I can't figure out this download thing? Current Dunster students can pick up paper copies of most of these documents and forms from Melanie Charette in the Dunster House Office.

  • Essential Forms

The Pre-Law Questionnaire. This questionnaire provides essential information for your House file. A copy of it also goes to your pre-law tutor, who will use the information to ensure that your dean's letter best reflects your interests, background and qualifications. Regardless of whether you intend to apply to law school this year, you should fill out this questionnaire soon after registering and return it to Rob White in the Dunster House Office.

House Waiver Form. This is the new combined waiver form for the dean's letter and for letters of recommendation. (Some of you may recall that the House previously maintained separate forms for these purposes). If you are planning to apply to law school this year, you must submit a signed copy of this form to Rob White in the Dunster House Office as soon as possible. You must also print a copy of this form for each of your recommenders. Read more about waiving (or not waiving) your right of access to letters of recommendation.

The Law School Mailing Form. For people applying to law school this year. This is just a simple form for helping us keep track of where you are planning to apply (and, therefore, where you need copies of your dean's letter and recommendations sent). Read more about why this form is necessary.

  • Other Useful Stuff

Sample LSAT. This is the actual LSAT given in October 1996, compliments of the LSAC. More information and advice about the LSAT.

Memo to Graduating Seniors and Alumni/ae. This memo offers advice for seniors and alumni/ae who may choose to apply to law school at some time in the future. This is the handout that was distributed at the April 2004 meeting for graduating seniors. Alumni/ae should also see our special considerations for alumni/ae applicants.
