Hi all, happy holidays! You can add a little holiday cheer to our lives -- and our DR project -- by making a tax-deductible donation to HCEWB. Donations need not be large, and can be easily done online. EWB-USA will issue a tax receipt to you. Thank you for your support!

There will be a meeting this coming Sunday to discuss the future of the project and start brainstorming ideas for sustainable solutions. Here are the details:

  • When: Sunday, November 18, 4:30pm
  • Where: Winthrop JCR (across from the dining hall)
  • Who: Anyone is welcome! No engineering experience necessary!

We have just been awarded funding from the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies! These funds are intended to be used for the post-trip seminar in which we present what we learned on the trip, and hopefully get more of the Harvard community involved -- faculty and students both. The seminar will take place the first week of December.

Our assessment trip to the site will take place from November 8-12. Our goal is to form relationships with the community and more fully define the water problem. We will send out an email in mid-November with the time and location of the meeting where we will present the information obtained on the trip, and then begin brainstorming ideas for the project. Right now we're very focused on the preparation and itinerary for the trip, but mid-November will be the best time for new members to get involved. Stay tuned for more information!
