What are the benefits of buying a sponsorship package over regular tickets?
As a sponsor at any level, you will have seating of your choice, as well as other benefits such as being able to attend the post-show receptions and/or the pre-show gala, depending on your level of sponsorship. In addition, all sponsorship packages have a tax-deductible value. Regular tickets are not tax deductible. Those who purchase regular tickets will not be able to sit in the center three sections of the rink on either side. How large does my group have to be purchase tickets at a group rate?
A group is 10 people.
Do you have handicap accessible seating?
Yes, handicap accessible seating is available in sections 2 and 20. If you require handicap accessible seating, please let us know when you purchase your tickets.
Are tickets available at the door?
Tickets are available at the door if the show has not sold out. If the show has sold out, we will have discounted tickets for standing room at the show, where if you find an empty seat after the first 30 minutes of the show, you can sit.
Do you have a group discount rate for students?
No, there is no group discount for students, since it is so low compared to other prices.
What age counts as a senior and what counts as a child?
A senior is 65 and up, and a child is 12 and under.
Where can I stay in Boston/Cambridge?
There are several hotels in and around Cambridge. Click here for a list. We encourage you to stay at our in-kind donor hotels, the Charles Hotel and the Holiday Inn Select at Government Center.
I am a skater who lives in the area. Can I skate for the show?
Yes! Every year we invite approximately 6-8 skaters from the Massachusetts area to skate in An Evening with Champions. If you are interested, please send a tape or DVD of a sample performance to us at 533 Eliot Mail Center; Cambridge, MA 02138. If that is not possible, then please send us an email to indicate that you are interested in skating. Every year we select our local skaters at the end of August.
How can I help promote the show in my area?

When and where will the show be broadcast on television?
The show will be taped and broadcast by CN8 and shown as part of Nancy Kerrigan's World of Skating. The show will be aired on November 19 at 7pm and replayed on April 22 at 7pm. Note: Unfortunately, An Evening with Champions is only broadcast regionally, to the New England and mid-Atlantic region. If you live outside this area and would like to watch the show, you can email us and purchase a DVD. |
