Welcome to Harvard College Fed Challenge!

Harvard College Fed Challenge promotes economics literacy both on campus and in our community by creating opportunities for students to participate in the Fed Challenge, a national economics competition sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank.

We are proud to announce that the Harvard team won the national championships for the second consecutive year at the Federal Reserve on December 3, 2008. The team again thanks the Harvard economics department for its support, the Moody's foundation for sponsoring the competition, and the numerous other people who supported the team as it worked toward Nationals.

--The website will likely be edited in the coming weeks. Until then, please see our newest page (with pictures!) here--

Check out the Crimson article about Fed Challenge 2008, and that of 2007.

In our College Program, teams of 3-5 undergraduates create original presentations about current macroeconomic conditions and make recommendations for monetary policy. In our High School Program, volunteers coach students at Prospect Hill Academy, a local charter school, in preparation for the high school Fed Challenge.

Please note that Harvard College Fed Challenge is a student-run organization at Harvard College. The Harvard name is a trademark of the President and Fellows of Harvard College and is used by permission of Harvard University.
