Conductor: Jen Houpy is a senior neurobiology concentrator in Leverett House. Previously, she was the Student Conductor
of the Harvard University Band for the 2009-2010 season. Jen enjoys arranging and has contributed many songs to the Band's repertoire. She is also a flutist in the
Band and has played C flute, bass flute, and piccolo for HUFE before conducting. Outside of the music world, Jen enjoys
teaching at local high schools through Peer Health Exchange and volunteering at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Jen is delighted
to continue her involvement in music at Harvard in her second semester as conductor of the Harvard University Flute
Ensemble.
