To help urban students gain access to opportunities for higher education and involve communities in supporting their efforts.
Our Philosophy
In order to truly iron out inequities in education, reforms must be made throughout
our educational system, however, there are a few points in a student's career which
are easy to target and address and which can have repercussions throughout a person's
life. The process of applying and preparing for college, in our minds, is one of
those points. We see it as a critical moment in an individual's, a family's, and
often in a community's ability to realize the American promise of social mobility in
exchange for hard work.
