Quote of the week...

"Roberts is a qualified, talented, and mainstream candidate. While we often hold what most wouldn’t consider conservative views, this is not the time to be overly ideological. President Bush’s nominee ought to be confirmed by a large bipartisan vote despite his silence, and perhaps even because of it."

- The Harvard Crimson, in its editorial published Monday endorsing Judge Roberts for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. You can read the complete editorial here: http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=508505

I. General Meeting - Wednesday (tomorrow) at 10 PM! - Our first general meeting of the semester is this Wednesday at 10 PM in the Forum Room at Lamont Library. Freshmen should meet at 9:45 at the John Harvard Statue if you don't know where the forum room is. If you want to get involved with HRC this semester, make sure you're there. Our meeting will include an overview of what HRC does, the opportunity to talk with HRC leaders in small groups and the opportunity to join club divisions that interest you. We'll also have snacks, so make this your study break!
