FYI: HRC Elections in about a month, candidacy
declarations due soon - HRC's yearly
elections occur towards the end of the second
semester, typically at the beginning of December.
Right now, the tentative date for HRC elections is
Wednesday, December 7th. This week, HRC President
Matthew Downer will appoint a 5-person election
committee, which will be approved by the executive
board and then announced. This committee will enact
and enforce the rules of the election. For the basic
framework of HRC elections, consult Article VIII of
our constitution: www.harvardgop.org/constitution.html
. NOTE: Based on this timeframe, candidates
will need to declare by roughly a week and a half from
now. Information on how to do this will be sent over
gop-announce very soon and described in detail at
Wednesday's general meeting.
VI.
