I. HRC Debates the College Democrats TOMORROW!

Come support the Harvard Republican Club as they take on the College Democrats in a debate on the topic of "Crime" this Sunday, September 16th, at 1pm in Emerson 105. Come hear arguments about the death penalty, gun control, jail overcrowding, victims' rights, and much much more, and watch the HRC debators demolish the Democrats. Audience members will also have the opportunity to ask questions to the debators, so make sure to come with some hard questions for the Dems! With questions about this debate or how to get involved in future debates, contact VP for Speakers Caleb Weatherl ( weatherl@fas.harvard.edu ).

III. Ivy League Republican Conference (ILRC)

This year, the HRC has been chosen to host the annual Ivy League Republican Conference. Join your fellow HRC members and other Republicans from schools like Dartmouth , Brown, Yale, and  Columbia  on Saturday, September 29 from 9am to 5pm in Harvard Hall 104. Conference activities will include discussions with prominent conservative minds like Bill Kristol and swap shop presentations from each school's club outlining their accomplishments and plans for the upcoming semester.

ALSO Remember to join us Friday, September 28 from 10 pm-12 pm for our first HRC party of the year! Club members are encouraged to come and welcome our fellow GOPers of the Ivy League to Harvard with good food and drink for all to enjoy! Location to be announced!

IV. Reception with Governor Jeanne Shaheen and HBO this Tuesday

Join Governor Jeanne Shaheen and HBO to a reception on Tuesday,
September 18, 2007 at 5:00PM at the IOP. Following the reception will be a premiere

V.   Meet Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao on September 18!

The Massachusetts Alliance of College Republicans (MACR) has a fundraising volunteer opportunity with an exciting twist - if you volunteer, you get a ticket to attend a $5000-per-person special guest dinner for free! Join Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao on September 18 at a fundraising event at the Massachusetts Republican Party headquarters in Boston . Volunteers over 21 may also be eligible to receive free drink passes for the dinner event. VI.  Intern for Romney!

The Romney for President Campaign's Political Department is currently accepting internship applications and would love to have Harvard undergraduates apply. It is preferred the applicant contribute at least 10 hours of work per week. Come help Governor Romney build a strong political organization across the country!
