Grad Pledge 2000

"Those that love the world serve it in action."

-W. B. Yeats

GRAD PLEDGE SPEAKERS AND PANELS

The signing of the Grad Pledge occurs after speaker events and panels. These speaker events are meant to give undergraduates both inspiration and practical examples of how others have successfully integrated social and environmental responsibility in their post-graduate life. These panels and speakers show us how, in our career and everyday decisions, no matter what our profession is, we can enhance causes we care about through our actions and the choices we make.

The next Grad Pledge 2001 speaker event will occur the afternoon of May 31st. Confirmed speakers include Paul Carttar, Co-founder and COO of The Bridge Group, a physician with Nobel Prize winning Doctors Without Borders, and Richard Parker, Co-founder of Greenpeace.

In the fall Grad Pledge 2001 panel, we were honored to host Rebecca Onie, Founder of Project Health, Elizabeth Reynolds, Vice President of Initiative for a competitive Inner City, and Shiela Jasanoff, an esteemed Harvard Professor of Environmental Law, Science, and Public Policy.
