Welcome to the Harvard GSAS Christian Community!

We are a community of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who meet regularly to explore our faith in Jesus through small groups, prayer meetings, social activities, and more. Come join us as we seek to unite our faith and scholarship, and to engage the broader Harvard community through dialogue and loving those around us!

HGCC is a university-recognized student organization supported by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and affiliated with the Harvard chaplains. We primarily serve PhD students from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) but also support students from the Education (GSE), Design (GSD), Divinity (HDS), and the Extension (HES) Schools. We welcome and enjoy meeting with postdocs, alumni, and students in Boston beyond the Harvard community as well..

If you are new to the area, we strongly encourage you to get connected to a local church. We have compiled a list of churches in the area on our Resources page, including contact information for some of our members who attend those churches. We’d be happy to introduce you to our church communities!
