Wednesday Night Fellowship & Dinner (Academic Year)
Students and scholars meet weekly to explore who Jesus is and what implications that has for our lives – both academically and in general. We might walk through a book of the Bible, read a book by a Christian thinker, or do something else entirely. Come join us as we grow in our faith and knowledge together! For details about the meetings this semester, please see the upcoming events list as the location changes occasionally or join our mailing list.
We have a number of small groups that meet throughout the year to help students grow and apply their faith during their graduate work. If you’re interested in joining or forming a group, let us know!
Worship Nights (Academic Year)
On the first Friday of every month, all of the graduate and professional schools at Harvard come together to worship God through music, sharing, and prayer. It’s also a great time to fellowship with people you might not normally run into! They take place from 8-9:30pm in the Parlor Room on the first floor of Phillips Brooks House.
Look out for trips to various places near and far where we build community and get to know each other away from campus. If you have ideas for a trip and/or would like to help plan one, please contact Tout.
Every Fall semester during Columbus Day weekend, grad students from all over the Boston area go to the beautiful Toah Nipi Retreat Center in New Hampshire. It’s a time to take a break from our busy lives, reflect on God’s goodness, and fellowship with brothers and sisters in the area. Hiking, canoeing, board games, and outdoor sports are popular activities there.
During the summer (June to August), we meet weekly to fellowship over food, Bible study, and discussions, usually at someone’s home. Since PhD students are the main group that is typically still on campus during this time of year, we welcome people from all the Harvard graduate schools and from non-academic backgrounds as well.
