After graduating from Miami University of Ohio with physics and biochemistry degrees, he joined Gavin MacBeath's systems biology lab in the chemistry department. There he uses statistical models to predict new binding partners of the ubiquitious PDZ domain protein. While at Harvard, Ethan has enjoyed his role as the Head Teaching Fellow of the most popular non-science major science class at Harvard and received multiple Distinguished Teaching awards for his involvement. He has been a professional English language journal editor and the President of the Harvard Graduate Consulting Club for two years. Most recently, Ethan has founded the Harvard Graduate Volunteer Consulting Group and looks forward to an exciting year of pro-bono consulting engagements. In his free time, Ethan and his wife, Michelle, enjoy movie-watching, theater going, and playing Rock Band with friends. |

Kyle Rasbach is currently a postdoc in the laboratory of Bruce Spiegelman at Harvard Medical School where his research focuses on the transcriptional regulation of energy homeostasis. Prior to moving to Boston, he earned his PharmD and PhD in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina and an MBA from the Citadel. Kyle enjoys fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his wife Lisa and their dog Bailey. |

| VP of Volunteer Consulting GroupCynthia Wang is a doctoral candidate studying the psychology of emotions on decision-making at Harvard. In particular, she investigates the effects that personality factors have on how people resolve interpersonal conflicts. Cynthia holds an Master's in Public Policy from Duke University and was a Fulbright Scholar in the Baltic States. She is fluent in three languages -- English, Chinese (mandarin) and Russian -- and she is currently learning Arabic. She holds a brown belt in Sanshinkai-Aiki Karate and enjoys amateur photography. |

Benjamin Diop-Frimpong is a fourth year PhD student in the Harvard/MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology Program. When he is not working on cancer drug delivery in the lab, he spends his time building websites like this one and the MIT Graduate Consulting website. Benjamin is fascinated by web technologies and how they can be used to create online communities. He also enjoys community projects and is currently setting up a farm and sausage production plant in his home town in Ghana. |

| VP of Internal Networking Anahita Tafvizi s a fourth year graduate student in Physics.Working jointly in the lab of Dr. Antoine van Oijen at Harvard Medical School and Dr. Leonid Mirny at MIT, she studies the search process of the transcription factor p53 for its target site on DNA. She received her Bachelor of Sceince in Physics from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. When she is not busy dealing with the proteins, microscopes and computers, she takes joy in skiing, sailing and learning different languages. |

Cecilia Lu is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Cell Biology in Harvard Medical School. She is interested in everything that has to do with how the brains are wired up to perform conscious and unconscious activities. Her current research focuses on microRNA functions in the developing nervous system. Cecilia completed her doctorate degree in Neuroscience from Brandeis University and undergraduate studies in Life Science from National Tsing Hua University and Academica Sinica in Taiwan. Outside her intellectual pursuits, Cecilia loves making music with family and friends, hiking, and traveling in foreign places. |
