Denise Delaney, Director (Fall)
ddelaney@fas.harvard.edu

Hi! I’m Denise, a senior in Lowell House, now serving as co-director upon my return from a semester of study abroad in Bogotá, Colombia. I have served as a board member and board secretary. I study social anthropology with a focus on Latin America. I’ve been an international trip participant on the 2005 Costa Rica trip, a member of the Jackson, Mississippi intercession trip, and trip leader of our spring break trip in 2006 to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Outside of Habitat, I am involved with Harvard Model United Nations conferences, and I love to travel-especially to South America!

Charlie Pollak, Director (Fall)
cpollak@fas.harvard.edu

Hi, my name is Charlie and I'm co-director for the fall. I live in Adams house and concentrate in Government. My previous experience with Habitat includes a spring break trip to Oak Ridge, Tennessee and summer director for 2007. I'll be leading a trip over intersession this upcoming January. Please email me if you have any questions at all about Habitat!.

Brittany Novak, Treasurer
bnovak@fas.harvard.edu

Hi, I’m Brittany, Habitat’s Treasurer. I’m a junior in PfoHo, concentrating in psychology with an interest in environmental studies, French, and pre-med. This is my first year with Habitat, although I’ve worked with organizations building houses before (I love power tools). I spent last semester abroad in Paris, which was fantastic. I do yoga and the EAC (Environmental Action Committee), which are also wonderful. I’d love to hear from you if you have any Habitat questions. Feel free to email me!

Priya Gupta, Secretary
pcgupta@fas.harvard.edu

Hi! I’m Priya, a freshman in Canaday (which I love, despite the frequent fire drills), now serving as secretary. I am currently planning to concentrate in Social Studies with a possible focus in global education. Outside of Habitat, I am involved with the Institute of Politics, the South Asian Association, and the Chinatown After-School Program.

Julie Chan, Fundraising Chair
jlchan@fas.harvard.edu

Hey! I’m Julie, a freshman in Hollis, in charge of Fundraising. I plan on majoring in Economics with a minor in Psychology. I’m really looking forward to my first year as a Habitat for Humanity member! Outside of Habitat, I’m involved with Harvard College Fund Undergraduate Committee and Harvard Economics Association. I’m also obsessed with basketball and TV.

Lydia Karch, External Relations Chair
lkarch@fas.harvard.edu

Hi! I’m Lydia Karch, I’m a freshman living in Greenough, and I am currently serving as the External Relations chair. I am planning on going on the international summer trip this year to Honduras with Habitat. Outside of Habitat, I volunteer at the International Institute of Boston as an ESL tutor, and I am also a Starbucks barista.

Timothy Kim, Weekend Trips Coordinator
tskim@fas.harvard.edu

Live long and prosper! I’m Timo, a freshman in Holworthy and I will be the weekend trips apprentice. I am probably going to be some sort of mathematics concentrator, although the best laid plans of mice and men, right? I’ve done some things for my high school Habitat organization and I really look forward to getting involved coordinating trips, hanging out, and saving the world one rafter at a time ^ ^ with Harvard Habitat. In my spare time, I stitch together forsaken attempts at domestic vestments, i.e. I knit poorly, and I tutor both as service and to provide for my midnight treks to Pinocchio’s.

Krista Weiss, Member-at-Large
kweiss@fas.harvard.edu

Hey everyone! I’m Krista Weiss, a sophomore from Barrington, RI and a concentrator in Human Evolutionary Biology in Pforzheimer House. I’m attending the spring break Habitat for Humanity trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and am psyched to get more involved in such a tremendous program. I am thrilled to start doing my part for Harvard’s chapter of Habitat. I’m also involved in singing with the Callbacks a cappella group and in getting Harvard some great concerts with the Harvard Concert Commission.

Tiana Wong, Member-at-Large
tmwong@fas.harvard.edu

Holla - I’m Tiana, a sophomore in Dunster, serving as a Member at Large. My concentration is sociology, with a possible secondary concentration in VES (photography). I was on the kickass ’06 spring break trip to New Orleans and will be going to Myrtle Beach with Habitat this spring break. I’m also a co-fundraising coordinator with China Care, and I tutor Boston high school students.

Danielle O’Keefe, Member-at-Large
dmokeefe@fas.harvard.edu

Greetings! My name is Danielle. I am a junior Visual and Environmental Studies (film) concentrator, a Habitat Member at Large and a dislocated Lowellian. I spent spring break last year building in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and, this past summer, I had a brief, but intense, fling with the Habitat Stuff Sale. I have a penchant for the cinema, midnight snacks, polaroids, and vinyl records.

Anu Singhal, Member-at-Large
asinghal@fas.harvard.edu

I’m a sophomore in Eliot house, concentrating in Chemistry and Physics and possibly Computer Science. I first got involved with Habitat last summer, when I helped out with the Stuff Sale, and I’m excited to be going on a Habitat trip to Myrtle Beach this spring break. I also enjoy writing for The Crimson, and studying (and discussing!) evolution in the Biolabs.
