HARMONY MED extends musical enrichment and education to adult cancer patients at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). A volunteer's friendship is valued greatly by patients, and the added bonus of musical education is often priceless. The program was initiated in 2002 and currently focuses on piano & violin instruction. Volunteers in the HARMONY MED program are trained as DFCI volunteers and HARMONY teachers.

For those starting out with the HARMONY MED program, you will need to fill out copies of some forms to allow you to volunteer at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

These will be available through HARMONY or DFCI. Email us for more info. (Previously available files have been removed due to DFCI regulations)
