About HARMONY One-on-One:
HARMONY One-on-One is the private lesson sector of HARMONY. High school, middle school and elementary school students in the Cambridge area can take free private lessons in their instrument of choice. Students are matched with a volunteer instructor based on instrument and level of experience. Volunteers and students generally meet once per week, most often in the Harvard Music Building (Paine Hall). At the end of each year, One-on-One students get a chance to perform in a recital for family and friends. This year, we hope to have the recital held and recorded in the Passim performance space behind the COOP. Currently, there are approximately 25 students, most of whom attend Cambridge Rindge and Latin, enrolled in HARMONY One-on-One.
