Harvard and Radcliffe Musical Outreach to Neighborhood Youth

Mission Statement

HARMONY provides instrumental and vocal instruction for children in Cambridge Public Schools. We aim to provide musical guidance and foster musical appreciation in supplement to the musical education received in school. The expansion, HARMONY Performing Arts, seeks to provide music, dance, and theatre skits for sick and shut-in children and senior citizens in local hospitals, nursing homes, and other care giving facilities. We will serve as a forum for our volunteers to teach, create, and learn about the performing arts. We expect to rehearse weekly, and to perform 2-3 times per month.

HARMONY Performing Arts will also serve as the in-house performing arts group for PBHA.
