Frequently Asked Questions

The HEAS Graduate Student Conference welcomes papers from graduate students in all disciplines pertaining to East or Inner Asia, including the interactions of these regions with the wider world.

To present a paper at the conference follow these steps:

1.Complete the Individual Abstract Submission form. ALL fields must be completed!

2. Submit the completed form, via email, to heas.abstracts@gmail.com by NOVEMBER 18, 2011.

3. If your application is accepted, you will be notified of the committee’s decision by December 11, 2011.

4. The deadline to accept/decline the invitation to present at the conference is December 25, 2011.

5. All participants are required to submit a 20-25 page paper by January 15, 2012.
