The Harvard Hong Kong Society (HHKS) is a student group dedicated to promoting unique aspects of Hong Kong culture and society. We bring together all students, tutors, professors and other affiliates at Harvard who are interested in Hong Kong. We are an active and friendly community on and off campus. Our events include panel discussions, study breaks, hotpot nights, and karaoke nights. We also organize outings to Chinatown for dimsum and community service. Located in Boston, we have cooperated with, organized and participated in events with the Hong Kong / Chinese Students societies at other Boston schools. We also hold a large intercollegiate mixer at Harvard each semester.
HHKS board is comprised of students either affiliated with or interested in Hong Kong, but we serve the greater Harvard community including tutors, professors and other affiliates. We have many Cantonese speakers amongst us, but welcome all. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us information regarding cooperation or sponsorship. We can be reached via the Contact Us tab on the sidebar above. If you are interested in what we do, our membership is open to people of all cultures and you are more than welcome to join us.
