Harvard-Radcliffe ChorusFounded in 1979, the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus (HRC) comprises approximately 150 student, faculty, staff, and community singers and performs two concerts of major choral-orchestral works each season in Sanders Theatre at Harvard University. The repertory of the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus encompasses music from the 18th century to the present. This winter, the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus will perform two of George Frideric Handel’s majestic Coronation Anthems, Zadok the Priest (HWV 258) and The King Shall Rejoice (HWV 260), as well as O Praise the Lord with One Consent (HWV 254). In the spring, the Chorus will collaborate with the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra to perform Johannes Brahms’s exquisite Ein deutsches Requiem . Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7 to 10 pm in Lowell Lecture Hall at Harvard University and begin in late September. In the spring, rehearsals will be held exclusively on Monday evenings. Now in its 28th season, the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus and its conductor, Dr. Kevin Leong, welcome you to another exciting year of fine music. 2007–200828th Season
