to Dance?
The Caribbean Club Dance Troupe (CCDT) is a sub-set
of the Harvard Caribbean Club dedicated to celebrating
the music of the Caribbean through dance. Since the
troupe's inception by Janelle James and others in 1997,
we have progressed and expanded our repertoire to include
not only calypso, soca, and dancehall but hip-hop, modern
and jazz as well. We welcome all who love to dance and
who want to learn about these styles of dance to come
to our practices. No dance experience or auditions are
required to join the troupe. This year's directahs of
CCDT have established a traveling subcompany of CCDT
- Riddims eXtreme. Below is a schedule of the shows
that CCDT plans to perform in this year.
