Elected Officers
- President: Aviva Hakanoglu liaisons with the Music Director, oversees long-term project planning and supervises the other officers.
- General Manager: Zachary Popp organizes every rehearsal and concert, coordinating with the Music Director, Memorial Hall staff, and members of HRO.
- Financial Manager: Evan Wu manages the orchestra’s finances, preparing budgets and keeping financial records.
Appointed Officers
- Directors of Personnel (Attendance): Annie Bishai and Nick Pascucci record attendance at every rehearsal, respond to the HRO attendance email account, and carry out necessary disciplinary action regarding attendance.
- Directors of Personnel (Coaches/Ringers): Anes Sung contacts and coordinates with coaches and ringers for sectionals and concerts.
- Graphic Designer and Webmaster: Brooke Griffin designs all of our concert posters, CDs and subscription brochures in addition to maintaining and updating this website.
- Historian: Cerianne Robertson researches and collects historical HRO material from various sources, and maintains and organizes records of concert cycles, tours, and alumni lists.
- Librarians: Nicholas Bobbs, In Young Cho and Joy Wang prepare the music for each concert cycle, marking bowings and making practice parts, in addition to distributing the music binders before each rehearsal.
- Director of Sales: Anna Sato coordinates the preparation and distribution of tickets and merchandise. She coordinates with the Box Office to organize the distribution of consignment tickets and subscriptions in addition to handling merchandise sales (HRO apparel and CDs of each concert).
- Program Manager: Katy Abel designs and prepares the programs for each of our concerts.
- Directors of Marketing: Alina Ranjbaran and Andrew Wyner are responsible for off- and on-campus publicity of our concerts, respectively. They coordinate postering, tabling and publicity outreach to the community.
- Social Chairs: Elizabeth Mahon and Alina Ranjbaran organize all social events for the orchestra and bring snacks for each rehearsal.
- Vice President: Jacob Shack assists the President in overseeing all the other officers and contributes to the long-term development of the orchestra.
