For questions about joining HTCTC e-mail Club President Anthony Vicari or Secretary/Treasurer Darius Weil .

Joining the Harvard Tai Chi Tiger Crane Club is one of the easiest things you can do: just come to practice at the beginning of the fall or spring semester and speak to one of the club members about signing up on our membership list.

HTCTC requires no dues or monetary payments, except possibly for the low-cost purchase of equipment or special uniforms. Since the classes are free and our teacher, Master Yon Lee, is teaching us out of good will and his desire to teach (with only minimal financial compensation for his expertise), there are some duties required of each member of the club. We assure you that these duties require very little time compared to other club and sport commitments.

Each member of the club must choose to take part in one of the administrative divisions of the club as listed below. Each division works as a small committee to perform a specific function for the club. While each member of the committee is equal in status, the student with the highest level of experience in kung fu/tai chi training will provide guidance, and it is generally a good idea to defer to his or her plan of action (unless there is a serious conflict, for which you should notify the Student Overseer). The responsibility of each division is spread amongst its members: while the duties are small, the more you put into them, the better the club will be for everyone.

Descriptions of Student Administrative Responsibilities:

Student Overseer (one or two students)
- provide guidance and assistance to all members of the Harvard Kung Fu Club
- coordinate the club's administrative divisions

Administrative Liaison

Social Coordinator

Technology Coordinator

Student-Teacher Relationship
