The HTKD Demo Team was organized by alum Samuel Kim in 2013; for the first time, HTKD has a group of dedicated members that meets regularly to work on the performance aspect of taekwondo.

A typical demo may consist of poomsae forms, taekwondo dance moves, combination kicks, a choreographed fight scene, and flashy board breaks with techniques that include split kicks, 540 kicks, and flying sidekicks.

HTKD traditionally performs throughout the year at cultural events hosted by groups such as the Harvard-Radcliffe Chinese Students Association, the Taiwanese Cultural Society, and the Harvard Korean Association.

In 2015, the demo team was first invited to the main stage of Cultural Rhythms, one of the largest cultural festivals of the year, and performed again in 2019!
