Trombone Day 2006

October 7, 2006 at the Harvard-Cornell Football Game

We are inviting trombonists of all ages and abilities to join the Harvard University Band for a celebration of all things trombone!

Highlights will include:

• Clinic with Ronald Barron, Principal Trombonist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra
• Play in the stands with the Harvard University Band trombone section
• Performance during halftime of the Harvard-Cornell football game with the Harvard University Band

Tentative Schedule of Events

8:30am: Registration at Harvard Stadium
9:00am: Clinic with Ron Barron
10:00am: Rehearsal for halftime show music
10:45am: Field rehearsal with the Harvard University Band
11:00am: Lunch
12:00pm: Enter Harvard Stadium to watch the first half of the game
~1:45pm: Halftime!
