What We Do

Harvard Wushu trains its members in modern Chinese martial arts. Harvard Wushu’s coaching staff, composed of national and world champions, helps members to hone their skills in wushu, which includes aerial kicks and flips as well as weapon work, through team and individual practice.  Harvard Wushu improves endurance and speed through conditioning and combat exercises while maintaining flexibility. The Harvard Wushu Team focuses on performance-based rather than combative competition. Harvard Wushu members choreograph competition sets and performances, customizing demonstrations to the particular event and venue.
