KENDO :: EQUIPMENT GUIDE

An important part of practicing kendo is learning to take care of one's equipment. Unfortunately, many of the procedures involved - folding hakama, assembling shinai, etc - seem incredibly complicated at first, and quick, one-time visual demonstrations may not always suffice in teaching beginners these vital skills.

Here are a collection of documents gathered from various kendo web sites that beginners and veterans alike may find useful; they are Adobe PDF documents, which can be downloaded for convenient viewing and printing.
