Since 1924, the Harvard Mountaineering Club has gotten members of the Harvard community outside and into the mountains, doing everything from hiking the White Mountains and learning to rock climb at Quincy Quarries to embarking on major expeditions and setting up first ascents around the world. Although we are an undergraduate run organization, we are open to all members of the Harvard community (undergrads, grad students, post docs, faculty, staff, business/law/medical school student, etc.).
We invite you to come to our meetings, every Thursday night at 8:00 PM in the SOCH (Student Organization Center at Hilles) Rm. 254. This is when we share stories from previous trips and make plans for the next weekend, break, expeditions or other bigger trips. The club’s community is centered around these meetings, but if you can’t make a Thursday meeting, don’t worry. The Mountain List is a great resource to find partners to climb with as well as stay up-to-day with the club’s activities.
