A CHRISTMAS BLESSING – (Fr. Anastasios) As we approach the holiday season celebrating the birth of our Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, we need to contemplate on the meaning and significance of this holy day as it pertains and affects us individually. Dec 14, 2003.

We are approaching the Christmas Season,
And we need to be reminded of the reason,
For celebrating this Holy Feast –.
A STAR emanating from the East,
A Savior born of the Virgin Mary
The Incarnate Lord, bringing hope and glory,
To the multitude who suffer through tears
He brings relief and calms their fears.
To those who seek eternal salvation,
ALL races, creeds and all the nations.
In a world overcome with bigotry and strife,
In need of comprehending the meaning of life
And place our faith, trust and hope resplendent,
On our newborn king, Incarnate God transcendent.
Who brings to all faithful, joy and prosperity,
God's blessings for all eternity.
