Comp
Perspective is always looking for new writers and editors. Chances are we can find room to cover most subjects you are interested in; we have written about everything from Supreme Court appointments to Korean soap operas, so we are quite flexible.
Our comp process is simple: write an article, and you are a staff writer. That is really all there is. To get started, come to our weekly editorial meetings, currently scheduled for Fridays at 6:00pm in Dunster d-hall. We will assign you a piece, and would be happy to help you along in completing it. You can be involved as much or as little as works for you. Some of us write for every issue; others only write once or twice a year. Some of us go to every meeting; others only stop by on occasion. We have room for both types of contributors.
So if you are interested in becoming a staff writer for Perspective, come to a meeting on a Friday in Dunster, or email ahead – harvard (dot) perspective (at) gmail (dot) com – to our editor-in-chief, Dylan Matthews for more information.
