About the PSC

The PSC is committed to a mission in which all of its members support. As outlined above, its goal shall be to promote certain inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, rights grounded in international law, global codes regarding human rights, and basic standards of justice.

We believe that Palestinians are entitled to self-determination, freedom from discrimination, and freedom of movement. In accordance with United Nations Resolutions, the PSC demands the end of Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories; the decolonization and desettlement of illegally held Palestinian lands; an end to the current Israeli system in which the indigenous Palestinian population is discriminated against and relegated the status of secondary citizenship; the right of the Palestinian people to determine for themselves the character and composition of their government and state; and the repatriation of Palestinians and/or compensation for their homes and properties.

Furthermore, the PSC is strongly against the use of violence against civilians to achieve political ends in this conflict, from the brutal military occupation by the Israeli army to the suicide bombings carried out by Palestinians. We advocate negotiations and dialogue between the two parties to achieve a lasting peace.

Just as the PSC abhors the discrimination against the Palestinian people currently taking place in Israel and the Occupied Territories, so do we condemn any hatred or discrimination against any racial, ethnic, or religious group, including the sentiments of anti-Arab and anti-Semitic rhetoric which have unfortunately become commonplace throughout this country. In accordance with these beliefs, we encourage people of all backgrounds to join the struggle for justice in Palestine and show their solidarity with the Palestinian people. Our strength is in our diversity.
