QSA Board Elections!
Co-chair candidates were each allowed 2 minutes of speaking time, followed by 8 minutes of Q&A. Following that, the Co-chair candidates left the room, and the board and general membership held a private deliberation. All other candidates (for Cultural Diversity Chair, Social Co-Chair, Political Committee Co-Chair, and Communications and Outreach Chair) were each allotted 1 minute of speaking time, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A. Finally, ballots were cast, and counted in a separate room by the co-chairs.
Voted in as members of the new board were Ivel Posada (Co-Chair), Brian Ventura (Social Committee Co-Chair), Kirin Gupta (Cultural Diversity Chair), Brianna Suslovic (Communications and Outreach Chair), and Lindsey Claus (Political Committee Co-Chair). They will be joining the board for the spring semester – congratulations to all of you! Many thanks as well to the voters and all the candidates for a well-run and well-fought election.
