| Boston Bisexual Women's Network The Boston Bisexual Women's Network is a feminist, not-for-profit collective organization whose purpose is to bring women together for support and validation. It is meant to be a safe environment in which women of all sexual self-identities, class backgrounds, racial, ethnic, and religious groups, ages, abilities and disabilities are welcome.

Anti-Violence Project The Anti-Violence Project is the nation's largest service agency for victims of bias crimes against the lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual, and HIV-affected communities. AVP provides free and confidential assistance to crime victims through a 24-hour bilingual hotline
(212-714-1141).
Their annual report of hate crimes and their statistics are extremely accurate and thorough.
The AVP works locally with Fenway's Violence Recovery Program (see below) which is a fantastic resource, especially if you are looking for something more local.
| Boston Area Rape Crisis Center This is the place in the area where rape kits can be collected as evidence of rape or sexual assault. UHS will confidentially pay for a cab for you to go there. You can bring a friend with you or someone from the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response. Contact, Response and Room 13 are also happy to provide someone safe to travel with you and stay with you as long as you want.

| Gay Men's Domestic Violence Project Located in Cambridge.
| Grand Opening Sexuality Boutique A queer-friendly and feminist sex shop for all! They are located in a little shopping complex at 308A Harvard Street in Brookline (get there on the #66 bus from Harvard Square that picks up in front of the Kennedy
School of Government on JFK Street and get off the bus at Coolidge Corner). There is also an online store.
| Justice Resource Institute Health Programs Programs addressing the needs of persons at risk of or living with HIV/AIDS and homeless, troubled, and GLBT youth.
| Office of Sexual Assault, Prevention and Response OSAPR is the go-to place for all sexual assault information on campus. They also have a hotline that is answered 24-hours. Call 617-495-9100 for 24-hour information and help. They are super-LGBT friendly and, in fact, have hosted programming specifically on transgender issues as well as LGBT issues in general.
| The Network/La Red A bilingual support organization in Boston for domestic and sexual violence survivors in the lesbian and bisexual women's and transgender communities.

Run by Fenway Community Health, the VRP deals with violence as a result of hate/bias crimes and also with partner violence. They're a great resource for you and are also an important group to contact in order to report a crime that has occurred as they keep very close statistics on hate violence.

Khush 'khush' is a mailing list for gay, lesbian, bisexual South Asians and their friends. They define South Asian as people from or descending from countries such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka. The purpose of this list is to discuss South
Asian gay culture/experiences/issues, as well as form a social and support network. Currently the list is not moderated and anybody can join or leave the list at any time.

LLEGÓ develops solutions to social, health and political disparities that exist due to discrimination based on ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity and which affect the lives and well-being of Latina/o LGBT people and their families.
| National Gay and Lesbian Task Force NGLTF is the national progressive organization working for the civil rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, with the vision and commitment to building a powerful political movement.
| National Transgender Advocacy Group The National Transgender Advocacy Coalition works proactively to reform societal attitudes and the law to achieve equal rights for the transgendered and other gender diverse individuals.

BGLTSA Resource Center Contact: Eve Drucker, Stephanie Skier, and Scott Smukalla (edrucker@fas.harvard.edu; skier@fas.harvard.edu; smukalla@fas.harvard.edu) The BGLTSA Resource Center is located in the basement of Holworthy Hall in Harvard Yard. The BGLTSA has a lending library of books, comics, videos and DVDs, and a non-circulating collection of magazines. It is open Monday through Friday, 11am-5pm, and is staffed by undergraduate members of the BGLTSA. Stop by and check it out!

| Compass Compass is a New England area female-to-male (FTM) trans support, information, and social group for people assigned female at birth who feel that is not an accurate or complete description of their gender.
| GenderTalk An entertaining and funny weekly radio show put on by two trans women "that talks about transgenderism in the first person" that can be heard online or on the air (taped at MIT). There are archives available and some of the guests on the show are both famous and super.
