Welcome to Radcliffe Rugby.

The Radcliffe Rugby Football Club (RRFC) was born of humble beginnings in 1982, but scrappy determination, dedicated coaches, and an indomitable spirit have transformed the club into a team to be reckoned within the Northeast. In 1998, Radrugby captured her first-ever Collegiate National Championship, becoming the first Championship team to be led by an all-female coaching staff. Two years ago RRFC went to Florida for the national playoffs and finished ranked fifteenth nationally. Last year the team again qualified for nationals and will be heading to compete at Penn State in April. RRFC currently has about 35 active members, and we field an A and B side for every game. Trace the club's history in the Archives.

RRFC competes on an intercollegiate level, as part of New England Rugby Football League (NERFU) East Division 1. Like almost all college rugby teams, RRFC operates as a club sport. Motivated by the ideals of athletic competitiveness, inclusion, and the development of women's leadership, RRFC provides the undergraduate women of Harvard with a unique opportunity to develop both as athletes and as individuals.
