The River Charles Ensemble was founded on the belief that, with exception of its audiences, the academic student musician comes first and that an intense, creative, and supportive environment is necessary for his/her musical and personal development. Along these lines, the ensemble strives to provide this environment with no financial obligation or constraints to its members. No other chamber orchestra, orchestra, or any other ensemble at Harvard is committed to such unique philosophies as the River Charles Ensemble is to the care of the individual musician in ensemble performance.
The organization is entirely responsible for funding its operational budget. In order for the River Charles Ensemble to make a definite long-lasting impact on its musicians and its audiences, we can’t do it without you. Your support means providing a strong foundation for the orchestra to flourish in its mission committed to artistic development and great performances. Provide a gift and make an indelible mark on our musicians and audiences, on the Classical music field, and on future generations of musicians who come through Harvard University.
To make a gift to the River Charles Ensemble, please contact the ensemble administrators for further details. We greatly welcome and appreciate your contributions and support of our philosophy, quality performances, and for making the RCE’s inaugural season a success.
Our dreams for the future are gigantic; your support will make these dreams a reality. Welcome to the River Charles Ensemble’s Inaugural Season!
Note: While the River Charles Ensemble is a non-profit student organization at Harvard University, because the organization is so young, it does not yet have a gift fund. Your contribution will therefore not be tax-deductible, although it will be very much appreciated.
