About Us
The Radcliffe Choral Society, founded in 1899, is one of the oldest and most preeminent collegiate women's choirs in the nation. Performing distinctive literature from the Renaissance to the present, this 65-voice choir tours each year across the country. In the spring of 2006, the Choral Society traveled to London for our spring concert tour, and in the summer of 2008, the Society traveled to Costa Rica for our international summer tour. This coming year's season highlights include a joint concert with the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, our annual Christmas Concert with the Harvard Glee Club, and a joint concert with the Glee Club and Spelman College Glee Club for Junior Parents weekend! We'll be wrapping up the year with our spring break tour to New York, D.C., and Philadelphia, and a pan-Holden concert celebrating Dr. Jameson Marvin's 32 years at Harvard University, including a commissioned work by Robert Kyr.
Rehearsals
RCS rehearses Mondays from 7pm to 9:30pm and Wednesdays from 4:15pm to 6:30pm.
