Turning Over a New Leaf
The things we should be thankful for
It would seem that these days, truly conservative
commentary is so often focused with the negative. And surely, there is plenty
of negative to comment upon: a Congress controlled by the Democratic Party, a
supposedly conservative President that has lost control of the situation in
Iraq and gotten lost himself amidst the milieu of corruption and scandal, and
countless other moral ills stemming from society's liberal attitudes towards
order and justice.
In such a melancholy atmosphere, we thought it high time to
talk about some of the good things that are going on around us. Surely, as we
approach this Thanksgiving holiday, conservatives at Harvard and around the
nation have plenty to be thankful for. For one, the outcomes of the election
