Our Christmas Wish List

The Salient sends its Christmas wishes to Santa

The Christmas season is all about goodwill, good cheer, and the good company of friends and family. During this special time, we pause from the inanities of our daily routine and reflect on the important things in our lives. Sometimes, however, the "reason for the season" is lost amid the morass of crass consumerism that has of late enveloped the holiday. In attempting to help reverse the massive commercialization of Christmas, the editors of the Salient have compiled a Wish List of gifts that money can't buy. We hope that our humble Christmas wishes will inspire our readers to remember that the best gifts come from the heart. So, from us at the Salient, we wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
