MedMonth is a new campus periodical dealing with issues of healing and health. It is directed towards undergraduates, especially undergraduates considering careers in medicine. It is a monthly newsmagazine covering topics that include cross-cultural healing perspectives, bioethics, the process of medical education, alternative health careers, personal experiences and the medical humanities. (And also humor.) Because the magazine's article will be of special interest to students seriously considering work in health, it is provided free to all premedical students on campus.

Our first issue has been distributed (check your house or science center journal drop-off box). The second issue for Spring 1999 is coming out in May. You may subscribe from our website, or e-mail our circulation director, Joyce Koh (koh@fas.harvard.edu) with your name and mailing address. If you are interested in learning about writing for the magazine, please indicate this in your email. Or come to our meetings; the Editorial Board meets once a week, usually on Mondays. Questions? Contact Jen Clark, Editor-in-Chief (jeclark@fas.harvard.edu).
