The Partnerships in Medicine program is developing opportunities providing for significant
interaction between physicians and students in a clinical setting. The main goal of the program
is to expose Harvard students considering medicine to the complexities and realities of clinical
practice. A second goal is to foster relationships with physicians who can serve as advisors
and role models. The end result, we hope, will be better informed Harvard premedical students
who have a clearer vision for their own medical careers, and who are better equipped to
achieve these professional goals.
If you believe that this a worthy endeavor, and you would enjoy initiating contact with physicians
and hospitals to engage them in this idea, please join us! We think it is fun, rather than entrepreneurial
experience, and the program will certainly be something which we can all be proud. Contact Sara Nayeem
(nayeem@fas) for details.
April 1999 UPDATE -- You can now apply to be paired up with a physician. Contact Natalie Hendon (nhendon@fas) for an app.
