Soldiers Field has been home to Harvard softball since the program's inception as a varsity team in 1981.  Located in the shadow of historic Harvard Stadium, the softball field has undergone several renovations in the last few years, making it one of the finest fields in New England.

   The scoreboard was erected in the fall of 1992, in memory of Becky Pocius '94, a Harvard softball player who was killed in an automobile accident between her sophomore and junior seasons.
