I saw you... Call me immediately. I am a peer counselor (with a different group) and I wish both of us could stay open now. But I'm awake, I care about you, and I'm here to listen. 914 907 1151.

I saw you...and I really wish that you were open tonight. Because I am right on the edge.

Just to add an alternative perspective, I'm a student with a high GPA and I've been clinically depressed for a year. There were points where I didn't want to keep on living, and calling UHS and getting prescribed antidepressants was the best decision I made. In my experience, after 2 weeks on 150 mg of Wellbutrin I didn't experience any changes, so they increased my dosage to 300 mb and the effect was astounding. I am much, much better now and I feel like I used to feel like before this changed my life. Please, please call them if you're having problems - all it takes is a 10 minute phone call and a consultation, and it's not like calling them means that you're forced to go on antidepressants. It's all your choice.

I saw you...I have this same question. I found out that a lot of my high-functioning friends are depressed, but I'm in absolute awe of how they've been able to keep things rolling along (without treatment). I feel like I've been struggling to keep my head above water--I can't concentrate on anything and have little energy, but am afraid of what antidepressants could do and have had bad experiences at UHS.

I saw you... Don't take the antidepressants. Don't, don't, don't do it. I'm sorry, I'm sure they help some people. But I don't think they get to the root of the problem. They made me feel like a zombie. I was so much happier after coming back, focusing on what really matters to me, deciding to be happy, and saying no to meds. You're having a really rough time right now, but you will get through this! You deserve to be happy!!

I saw you... How did others get through severe anxiety/depression during the semester, especially around exam time? I can barely function anymore. I've just started taking antidepressants, but I'm worried about how they will pan out

just wondering
