Physics Course Selection
We don't think that we can help you plan out your physics career
with a single webpage, but here are some resources that you may find useful:
The SPS Guide to Physics
Every year the SPS updates and publishes its legendary Guide to Physics.
(You should be able to get your hands on a more convenient printed version, but the online
version is available if you can't find one.)
The guide is all about how to make the most of your physics experience at Harvard in general,
and discusses course selection strategies in particular. Now, since the SPS is funded
by the Physics Department, we can't offer opinions on specific faculty members, of course.
But you should consult the Guide for information on what certain courses are like, and hints
about what courses in other departments are worth looking into. The Guide should be your
first stop when it comes to choosing your physics courses.
