Question:

How do I see who's on the access list for our account? How do I add someone to the access list?

Answer:

To see who currently has access, type access from your HCS prompt. If you need to make changes to that list, simply select the appropriate option from the list of choices.

As a reminder, people may access a hcs account from any HASCS server (fas.harvard.edu, ice.fas.harvard.edu, or any of the ws.fas workstations in the science center) by typing ssh @hcs at the fas% prompt. If you are asked a question about "host keys", respond by typing "yes", the whole word. You will only be asked this question the first time you ever try to log in to an hcs group account.
