Dave has done some fantastic work on getting together the design for the new QSL cards, which will feature a photo of the club station. We spent time last week going over the text to be printed on the reverse side. Mike is currently negotiating with printers for the run. Our usual supplier, Typotech, turns out to be too expensive for this job, so Mike is contacting another reliable printer while he is in PA. We observed a memorial minute to admire the fine ceiling painting that Mike did last week. The club-room-to-be is looking less and less like a squash court, and more like a well-appointed meeting room every week. The carpet installation is scheduled for Saturday morning. This will not only put on the finishing touches, but also remove a lot of the squash-court echo that has made it more difficult to use the room for meetings and code practice in the past. Hey, guys ... we are looking forward to having this 1st-class location all together in just a few more weeks, so look forward to a very active 2nd semester.
