HWC Shield Harvard Wireless Club > History
We owe much to HWC members who, over the years, have preserved the history of this wonderful institution by archiving log books, photos, and other documents, and by conducting oral and written interviews with former members.

In 1990, Eugene Simon, W2KOY (silent key), produced the most comprehensive historical document to date. Gene was a true gentleman ham, friend and Elmer.

Speaking of gentleman hams, Gene dedicated his book to "...Carter Pfaelzer (W1TCD, silent key), whose generous support of the Club helped make this book possible."
