From the earliest origins of Amateur Radio, hams have sent one another postcardsor QSL cardswhich serve as a confirmation of contact over the air. The Harvard Wireless Club has accumulated tens of thousands of QSL cards over the years. HWC also serves as "QSL Manager" for other stations who have operated in distant, or "DX" locations, thus ensuring speedy verification and delivery of a confirming card.
